Man-Down
PowerCode™ Transmitter
The MDT-122 is a microprocessor-controlled "man-down" personal
emergency transmitter designed for use by guards and security officers in
prisons and institutions, or by people working alone in industrial and
other high-risk facilities. |
The MDT-122 has
five types of events:
- Distress – by depressing the
two emergency buttons simultaneously.
- Man-down – when the wearer
falls down.
- Pull-cord – when someone
attempts to pull the transmitter off the wearer.
- Test – for testing the
transmitter.
- Tamper – when an unauthorized
person opens the transmitter.
When activated, the MDT-122 initiates a
PowerCode™ transmission sequence of a 24-bit ID command code, which is
selected from 16 million possible combinations and is therefore unique and
virtually impossible to accidentally reproduce. A smart anti-collision
algorithm prevents signal jamming by simultaneous transmission from
multiple devices. A built-in selector enables automatic transmission of
periodic supervision signals confirming system connectivity at all times.
This ergonomically designed "Man-Down" robust device is
available in several optional frequencies in compliance with European,
U.S. and other international standards. It is powered by a standard
long-life Lithium battery, and features visible and transmitted low
battery reporting when the battery needs to be replaced.
The MDT-122 is supplied with various wearing accessories including a metal
belt-clip, a lightweight water-resistant carry pouch / holster and a pull
cord with cloth clip.
